Сьогодні, 10:18

On June 4, the jury of the architectural contest met to select the best design proposal for the revitalization of the area along Lytovska Street in Rivne, known as “Yevreyka Park.”

Over the course of two months, participants worked on developing architectural designs to reimagine this location. A total of 24 entries were submitted to the competition. Each offered a unique vision for the future of this location—ranging from approaches to memorialization and engagement with the historical context to scenarios for the everyday use of the space by city residents.

Based on the jury’s evaluation, the competition was won by the project submitted by a group of architectsYuriy Stolyarov, Mykhailo Kuzmych, Yulia Tymofiychuk, Kateryna Rosenberg, Yulia Tynzyk, Melania Yatskiv, and Diana Savelyeva. The project offered the most compelling and comprehensive vision for the future development of this territory.

Second place went to the project by the architecture and design studio KORA (Omelian Krushelnytskyi, Olga Yagodynska, Olga Hnativ, Polina-Viktoria Pidlisna, Olesia Plish, Ivan Yeremchuk).

Third place went to the project (111101) by the architectural firm “Urbanideas” (Valentin Sharovatov, Anna Kuzovkina, Danylo Bolizhuk, Tanya Skorbach, Viktoria Starsha).

We sincerely congratulate the winners and thank them for their professional work, attention to context, bold ideas, and contribution to shaping a new vision for this space. We thank all contest participants for their submitted projects, inspiration, and willingness to contribute to shaping a new vision for this place. Each contest entry has become an important part of the comprehensive process of reimagining the past space and developing a new approach to its future. Special thanks to the jury members for their attentive and professional work. The discussion of the competition proposals was rich and substantive: the jury examined each entry in detail, weighing architectural solutions, sensitivity to the historical context, the functionality of the space, and its significance for the community.

We remind you that the architectural contest is one of the stages in the revitalization of the space known as “Yevreyka Park” as part of the “REHERIT 2.0: Shared Responsibility for a Shared Heritage” project.
