We invite teams working in the field of heritage who have project ideas and are seeking funding to apply for our Project Development Program for development initiatives. The program focuses on practical tools, teamwork, and applying knowledge to real projects. It includes a series of consultations and expert support in project development.
The Project Development Tool “Heritage: Projects for Community Development” (PPF) is a targeted support instrument that guides teams and initiatives from identifying a local problem to shaping a clear project idea and preparing it for funding submission. PPF is designed for those who aim to develop heritage-oriented development initiatives and need structured support throughout the project cycle.
Duration of the program: March – December 2026, in a mixed format of online and offline meetings.
The program’s approach:
- PPF views heritage not as an object of protection, but as an asset for community development.
- The program emphasizes systemic projects that cover several components (social, economic, cultural) as opposed to one-off events.
- The approach is based on practice, expertise, and dialogue between teams, experts, and mentors.
PPF aims to help participants clearly define the problem and impact goal; systematize ideas into a structured project proposal; strengthen the quality and prospects of initiatives, and prepare projects for submission for funding (grant, partnership, etc.). The program does not guarantee grant funding, but significantly increases the chances of a successful submission.
What can you get as a PPF participant?
- Expert consultations individually and in small groups (up to 5 initiatives).
- Clear structure and templates with step-by-step stages.
- Practical tools for developing project solutions.
- Feedback from specialized experts.
- Support in building the logic of impact, financial viability, and project design.
Who can join?
We invite representatives and/or teams who:
- work with heritage as a resource for development;
- have an idea or experience that they would like to turn into a project;
- are interested in preparing a project proposal for further funding.
You can apply for participation using the link until March 16th. Teams will be selected through short online interviews.
