We invite representatives of the cultural sector to the training program “Heritage: Projects that Change Communities”.
As part of the training, we will improve practical skills in designing and implementing complex projects that will potentially have a long-term impact. The training program includes a lot of practice: consideration of successful Ukrainian cases of working with heritage, a lot of joint group work, idea development, and project design. The focus is on strategic planning, financial management, communication, partnerships, inclusiveness, and crisis management.
Training program format
We plan the training program to be flexible but also intense. The training will consist of 12 trainings, which will last 1-2 working days every two weeks. The introductory and final training will be mandatory. The rest are optional: you can take all 12 trainings, or only those that are most relevant to you. However, you will be required to attend at least 4 trainings. The program will last six months. We have also provided additional learning opportunities: expert consultations, networking events, networking, etc.
The final task will be a team project: developing a development initiative, presenting it, and defending it. Protected projects can also be submitted to the REHERIT 2.0: Common Responsibility for Shared Heritage grant competition to try to win funding for the implementation of a component.
